A rental car is the most practical option for exploring beyond Old Town. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is about 10 miles west of Old Town Scottsdale (roughly 15–20 minutes). Within Old Town, the free Scottsdale Trolley runs Monday–Friday and connects to the Tempe Orbit bus system. Uber, Lyft, and Waymo autonomous vehicles operate city-wide.
